Other places to ride
Located on the western side of Auckland about 45 minutes from the CBD is Woodhill MTB park. They are great mates of ours and offer a great place to ride if your after some flowing cross country without the vertical descent. A small entry fee gives you access to a huge network of trails with a great all weather surface. Awesome bike shop facility, rental fleet, coffee and a great bunch of people!
